Such is the engine of Polirama: making content generated in our headquarters through original, interesting, entertaining and meaningful screenplays; and creating a unique, personal, vibrant and world-class visual finish. With that in mind, Polirama works ceaselessly to make appealing and human stories, which will connect with the audience who we expect to move, shock or amuse. And that’s what we like.

Ciudad Jardín

Ciudad Jardín is an animated series that follows Pipo, Vivi, Tato, Lila and Mimí, a group of little friends who live in an intelligent and futuristic neighborhood, surrounded by vegetation and rural communities in the middle of the Andes, next to a lively river. In each episode, our friends gather in the Central Park of the city to plan a curious and fun field trip, so they ride their bikes to go on an adventure somewhere in the city. The series gives children valuable lessons about living in balance with the people, animals and land that surrounds us.

Mochica

A cruel draught. A sovereign at the brink of death. And the only cure is in danger. Mochica is an entertaining animated film for all audiences, set in the year 600AD, in the dry northern coast of Peru, during the rise of the Moche culture. This project is the first Peruvian Animated Feature Film to receive the award of the National Contest of Feature Film Projects (DAFO) and the support of the Ibermedia Fund for Coproduction.

Babi & Maiki

Babi is a 5-year-old vegetarian, extroverted and active little boy. He lives with Maiki, a Jack Russell Terrier who has always been his companion. They live in a beautiful shelter built by his loving parents. Babi has a responsibility in life: to help endangered or neglected animals. And terrain doesn’t stop him, for each time Maiki tells him of an animal in need, he packs his gear and goes around the world with his faithful dog to help. All this to the beat of a lively and upbeat song to sing along!

Animated Short Films

The short film is the primary means of audiovisual self expression. It has limited resources, reduced time frame, few characters, low budget… Yet with all these challenging factors, its aim is to generate an explosion in the audience, a love at first sight. Years ago, we identified our passion for this entertaining medium, and we dedicated to train our potential within it. Audiovisual hors d’ouvres for animation lovers.

New projects

In Polirama we keep dreaming. Beyond our movie and our short films lies a group of TV series, web content and even graphic novels in the works. All of this will come to light in due course. Right now we are baking them lovingly, working on them and nurturing them, so you will very soon be seeing a variety of our work covering areas from a fun post-apocaliptic world to a simple kindergarten; from a love story amidst a historic Peruvian war to a sad fable influenced by gray weather. So many stories to tell and so little time!
